Leading with Authenticity & Humility Part 2 with Mark Chipman - The 10-Minute Leader S1 Ep7

How important is it for leaders to be authentic and humble? How important are the people around you when you're a leader?

 

This is Part 2 of my recent interview with world-class leader, Mark Chipman.

 

Mark Chipman is best known as the Chairperson of True North Sports and Entertainment, the company which owns the Winnipeg Jets.

 

He is a businessman, holds a law degree from University of North Dakota and has also received many accolades throughout his career, one of which was that he was made a member of the Order of Manitoba in 2012. 

But more importantly, he is an excellent leader who has a huge heart for people. His authenticity and graciousness shone through during our conversation.

 

My biggest takeaway was how Mark values humility in his leadership.

 

I was honoured to have a chance to hear his thoughts on leadership. I wish the conversation could have lasted way longer!
