Kevin Chief is passionate about the role of community in leadership - community helps form leaders, and leaders help influence communities.
He was born and raised in Winnipeg’s North End, and has considerable public sector and community experience. Some of which are the following:
- Former Vice President at the Business Council of Manitoba
- Member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for six years representing Point Douglas
- Currently works in the field of education, training and employment.
- Part of the Norman Chief Memorial Dancers and is known as a high steppin’ square dancer
Kevin brings the perspective of someone who is Indigenous, a community leader, and a former MLA.
His story is amazing.
His impact is amazing.
I consider myself blessed to have been able to have such a great conversation with him.
